FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A 24-year-old Bridgeport motorcyclist was taken to the hospital Saturday after he tried to round a curve on Congress Street and wiped out, police said.
The man told police he was going about 40 miles per hour westbound to catch up with friends and struck a guardrail shortly before 11 a.m.
He complained of knee, back and arm pain and was taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
He was also given an infraction for driving too fast for conditions.
