Two Lenox employees were kidnapped at an apartment in Meriden and taken to the store on April 11. The suspect forced the victims to open the store and the safe inside and fled with between $4 and $5 million in diamonds and jewelry, according to police reports. Police are still searching for four suspects involved in the case.
The photos above were taken from a security camera outside the Black Rock Turnpike jewelry store. They show two masked suspects entering the store with the victims and exiting with duffel bags. There was no security footage inside the store or closer to the entrance, police say.
