Pickup Truck Stolen In Fairfield Found Burned In Bridgeport

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Fairfield police were investigating the theft of a Chevy pickup truck that was stolen early Thursday and found burned in Bridgeport, police said.

According to the police, a 2006 Chevy 2500 pickup truck that belonged to a local tree service was stolen between 3 and 7 a.m. Thursday.

Bridgeport police later found the burned-out truck on Grand Street, police said.

The vehicle was worth $13,000, police said.
