FAIRFIELD, Conn. – A house on Redding Road in Fairfield was burglarized, with eight items valued at more than $2,500 taken, police said.
The burglary occurred between Oct. 18 and Oct. 28, police said.
When police arrived, the owners told officers that a window in the barn that was normally locked had been opened, police said. The same was found with a sliding door at the front, police said.
The owner reported two air conditioning units valued at $600 total, two kitchen cabinets valued at $500 total, a power washer valued at $500, a leaf blower valued at $400, and a sink an faucet valued at $300 were taken from the barn, police said.
Police were investigating the burglary.
