Ravis Symone Mcdade, 20, turned herself in at police headquarters early Friday, March 6. She was arrested on charges of cashing two of four checks totaling about $1,900 in losses for Purity Medical Transport of Fairfield, police said.

An investigation into a January, 2014 larceny proved Mcdade was not an employee of the Fairfield business and had no connection to it, police said.

Two other women were responsible for the other two checks, but Fairfield’s Detective Bureau is still investigating the identities of the suspects, according to police.

Mcdade was charged with fifth-degree larceny and two counts of second-degree forgery. She was released on $100 bond and is due to appear in court on March 26.
