Police Chiefs Association Honors Fairfield's McCarthy Vahey With Award

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Connecticut Police Chiefs Association recently presented State Rep. Cristin McCarthy Vahey (D-Fairfield) with a legislative award in recognition of her efforts on behalf of law enforcement in Connecticut.

McCarthy Vahey thanked the group for the honor and praised them for their work.

"Thank you to the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association for this recognition of my efforts to enhance law enforcement," she said. "I believe all of them deserve an award – especially Fairfield's own Deputy Chief Christopher Lyddy and Chief Gary MacNamara."
