Police: Man Attacked On Fairfield Street

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – A man was beaten by two men early Friday morning in the Brooklawn section of Fairfield, according to police.

A nurse at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport called Fairfield Police to report a patient in the emergency room had been assaulted. He was being treated at the time for swelling in his face and scratches on his neck, according to the police report.

The victim told officers that he had received a call by an unidentified person inviting him to a party on Old Oaks Road. When he arrived, two men met him at his car and began punching him, according to the report.

The victim said he knew the two suspects, but declined to press charges.
