FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Police are looking for a young woman suspected of stealing several pieces of jewelry from a downtown shop and fleeing the scene Saturday afternoon, police said.

The suspect entered Henry C. Reid & Sons Jewelers at 1591 Post Road, took the items and fled on foot before getting into the back seat of a white newer model Honda with dark tinted windows around 4:15 p.m. July 30, police said.

The Fairfield Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding the thefts or the suspect to call police at 203-254-4808 or text-a-tip to CRIMES (274637).
