Store employees told officers that 19-year-old Kavon Bevis Polk took merchandise into a fitting room and then left wearing a men’s jacket and a pair of earrings valued at $140, police said.
He was detained as he tried to leave the store, police said.
Officers found Polk’s old jacket left behind in the fitting room, police said.
Polk was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court Feb. 22.
