Purse, iPad Stolen From Unlocked Car In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Grandview Road woman reported someone stole her purse and iPad from her unlocked car Monday morning, police said.

The woman left her car unlocked in her driveway and the thief stole her purse containing an American Express and bank debit card and the iPad valued at $200 sometime overnight.

Police have repeatedly warned residents to keep their valuables indoors and lock their cars, due to a rash of similar crimes.
