Report: Connecticut Man Arrested For Breaking Into New York School

CROSS RIVER, N.Y. - A former John Jay High School employee was arrested this weekend after police said he tried to break into the school and steal items from it, according to a report in The Journal News.

Richard D. Hoenninger, 59, of New Fairfield, Conn., was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with third-degree burglary, a felony, and criminal trespass and petty larceny, misdemeanors, the newspaper reported. He was released on bail .
