Security Firm Honors Fairfield Officer For Work In Education, Enforcement

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- A Fairfield police officers has been recognized for his community service in Fairfield.

Scott Sudora received the recognition from ASIS International Southern, a global organization of security professionals from the private and public sectors. 

A town of Fairfield police officer for 26 years, Sudora has held several assignments within the department, and is currently assigned to the Traffic Safety Unit, said an item posted on the Fairfield Police Department Facebook page.

In this capacity Sudora has played a crucial role in education and enforcement, which has had a significant impact on the local community, said police.

He has been involved in the department's Police Athletic League for several years, is chair of the Youth Fishing Derby, along with the National Football League’s Punt, Pass, and Kick initiative.
