Stratford House Damaged, Two Cars Destroyed In Fire

STRATFORD, Conn. — Two cars and the garage were destroyed and the house was severely damaged in a fire Tuesday morning in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Post.

No one was home when the fire broke out at the one-story home on North Peters Lane near the Roosevelt Forest at about 7:25 a.m. Tuesday, the Post said.

No one was injured in the fire, but heavy smoke could be seen in the area, which is near the Shelton border, the Connecticut Post said. 

Bridgeport and Shelton firefighters provided assistance, the Post said.
