original story: FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Dwight Elementary School in Fairfield was evacuated late Wednesday morning due to a bomb threat, according to a neighborhood resident.
Students have been relocated onto a nearby athletic field and streets around the Redding Road school were blocked off, the Connecticut Post reported.
A preliminary check showed that it appeared to be “non-credible,” but the police K9 and bomb squad will check the building, the Post said.
