Three Injured, One Arrested In Norwalk Stabbing Incident

NORWALK, Conn. -- Three people were injured in a stabbing incident on Wilton Avenue in Norwalk on Tuesday, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the area of 47 Wilton Ave. early Tuesday afternoon. Police said the incident stemmed from a disturbance that escalated to violence.

Two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Norwalk Hospital. A third victim suffered a minor injury and refused medical attention, police said.

Police said one person was in custody as of Tuesday evening, and a weapon was recovered at the scene. Detectives were continuing to investigate the incident.
