Three Taken To Hospital In Two-Car Accident In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Three people were sent to area hospitals for treatment after a two-car accident Thursday morning in Fairfield, police said.

According to police reports, one driver went through a red light, which caused the accident. All three people were removed from the cars without extrication, police said.

Two ambulances were called, taking one person to Bridgeport Hospital and two others to Norwalk Hospital, police said. No information was available regarding their conditions.

Police were investigating the accident.
