Two In Critical Condition After Car Hits Motorcycle In Monroe

MONROE, Conn. — Two people were in critical condition Monday after their motorcycle was hit by a car on Route 25 in Monroe on Sunday night, police said.

The southbound Hyundai Sonata crossed the center line at 7:12 p.m. and hit a motorcycle traveling north near Bart Road, Monroe police said.

The two from the motorcycle were being treated at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and were listed in critical condition, police said.

Two people from the car were treated and released from Bridgeport Hospital, and a third was admitted for treatment, police said.

The accident remained under investigation.
