A security guard from a company hired to check on school buildings in town reported the windows to police at 11:44 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Based on the hole found in one of the windows, it appears the two windows were shattered by a pellet gun, police said.

The shattered windows were between doors 9 and 10 of the school building, police said.

Police said there were no cameras on the side of the building where the windows were shattered.

The school is located at 190 Putting Green Road near Lake Mohegan.
