FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield Police have released a video of the suspect in one of this weekend’s shampoo thefts in the hopes that a resident can identify him.
CVS Pharmacy stores have reported that a man has come in to steal large amounts of high-value shampoo at Fairfield’s locations over the past month. He is described as a heavy-set white male with dark hair. He may have a tattoo on his right forearm and was seen wearing glasses during some of the incidents.
The video came from the security camera at the CVS on Grasmere Avenue Friday afternoon. During that incident the man entered the store, hesitated in the front vestibule, and then emptied a shelf’s worth of shampoo in a backpack, police said. He fled in a black sedan.
