The armed robbery at the Little Caesars Pizza Restaurant at 186 North Ave. last Wednesday at about 10:10 p.m.

Bridgeport police released the video — which shows the suspect dressed all in black — and asked for help in identifying the armed robber.

The masked robber walks into the pizza place and waves the handgun at two people seated near the door, the video shows.

The armed robber then holds the gun directly at the head of one employee, who removes the money from the cash register and puts it into a plastic bag. A second worker stands nearby, and at one point, the suspect puts the gun in that worker's face as well.

The robber grabs the bag of money, and points the two workers to the wall, where he waves the gun in their faces again.

The robbery is shown from two different cameras — from the front of the store and from behind the counter.

The Bridgeport Police Robbery Squad is asking for assistance with identifying the suspect. Contact Robbery Detective Vincent Lariccia at 203-581-5229 or Vincent.lariccia@bridgeportct.gov or call the Bridgeport Police Tip Line (203) 576-TIPS (8477) with any information on the armed robbery.
