Vote For The Fairfield Police During K9 Grant Program

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Police Department is asking residents to help them win a $500 K9 equipment grant by voting for them in the grant contest.

Fairfield Police Officer Kevin Wells and K9 Jagger are asking the public for help by voting for them on Facebook so they can receive a $500 grant for K9 supplies.

The department currently has two teams in the C.U.S.T.O.M K9 Program (Canines Under Superior Training and Outstanding Municipalities) for patrol/narcotic detection and advanced tactical operations.

The team that receives the most likes by Friday, Feb.19, will be awarded the $500 equipment grant.
