Police said that in July  2013, a customer at a local dry cleaner reported that he forgot his money clip containing cash, a license and credit cards in a pair of pants.

Officers learned that an employee, identified as 39-year-old Keeann Bardliving of Bridgeport, had found the money in the man's pants and kept it, police said.

An arrest warrant was submitted and approved by a judge. On Jan. 3, 2018, Westport Police were contacted by Greenwich Police, where Bardliving was being detained on the outstanding arrest warrant.

She was taken to Westport headquarters and charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court.
