Woman Charged With Theft From Car In Fairfield Medical Center Parking Lot

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield police arrested a woman Wednesday afternoon, April 30, at the Integrated Medical Center on Tunxis Hill Road after a theft was reported from a car in the parking lot, police said.

A witness reported seeing Katherine Saleeby, 23, of Westport, entering a car Wednesday evening and taking $60 in cash from a purse, police said. 

There were several incidents when the victim had gone to the center and returned to her car to find money missing from her purse, the police report said.

The victim told police she believed that Saleeby would go to her car whenever the victim was in the office for treatment. 

Saleeby was charged with sixth-degree larceny and third-degree burglary and held on $1,000 bond. She was given a court date of Wednesday, May 14.
