Wilton Woman Who Brandished Lighter In Restaurant Faces More Charges

WILTON, Conn. -- A Wilton woman continues to run afoul of the law as officers discovered there were a number of warrants for her arrest after she was involved in a traffic accident Tuesday, police said.

Simi Honarbakhsh, 61, of 12 Village Walk, was arrested Tuesday on charges of failing to appear in court.

Simi Honarbakhsh, 61, of 12 Village Walk, had three outstanding warrants on charges of issuing two bad checks in July and one in August to The Turnover Shop. The checks totaled $1,954 police said.

She also is charged with failing to appear in court on earlier charges.

She was arrested in late August on charges of brandishing an ignited lighter toward patrons of a Wilton restaurant while telling them they would “all go to hell” for dining there, police said. 

She was arrested later in September on charges of stealing flower arrangements from the Village Market in Wilton, police said.

Bond was set at $1,100 and she is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on Nov. 21.

Police provided no information on the traffic accident that led to her most recent arrest.
