Woman Robbed At Gunpoint Outside Stratford Bank

STRATFORD, Conn. — One of two suspects in the armed robbery of a woman outside a Stratford bank Thursday morning was arrested in Bridgeport, according to the Connecticut Post.

Stratford police told the Connecticut Post that the woman was outside the TD Bank on Ferry Boulevard near Main Street when she was robbed. A white man armed with a handgun approached her, took a bag containing about $2,000 dollars from her, and got into a gray 2005 Lexus with Connecticut plates that was being driven by a black man, according to the Connecticut Post.

One of the suspects was taken into custody in Bridgeport a short time later, the Connecticut Post reported. Police in Bridgeport were investigating another robbery that was believed to have been committed by the same two men when they took one of them into custody, according to the Connecticut Post. The second suspect remains at large, the Connecticut Post reported.
