To the editor:
When I heard that my friend and role model Dru Georgiadis decided to run for state representative for District 132 I was thrilled. I can say with deep conviction that Dru is an excellent candidate and would represent the people of our community with the dedication, hard work, resolve and passion that she displays in everything that she does.
I have known Dru for about a decade as my daughter has been friends with her triplet boys for years, and we have become great friends as well. As an aside, she is a phenomenal mother to all four of her boys, sending off incredible care packages to four colleges and inspiring them to be strong, caring men who are involved in community service. They are wonderful.
I can honestly say that since I have met Dru she has worked hard to help people in our town in many areas. She has always been the most involved and effective person, working diligently to improve circumstances and conditions for many people. Dru fought hard for many important issues in schools that affected not only her own children but hundreds of others as well.
I have always been impressed by Dru's good humor, devotion to important local political issues, ability to work with all sides, and her excellent moral judgment. While those qualities certainly help to qualify her for State Representative, add that to her fierce intelligence, capacity for working hard and working for as long as it takes to get things done, and her natural ability to speak out on behalf of others. She is truly a top tier candidate.
I would feel privileged to have Dru Georgiadis represent our community as state representative, and I am confident that she can elevate the quality of our lives in many ways.
I am backing Dru Georgiadis and recommend her to all in our town, no matter what their party affiliation. Dru is a rare gem in any career, philanthropy or field that she decides to take part in.
