To the Editor:
I am writing to encourage those who live in the 133rd district to vote for Ray Neuberger as their state representative. I have gotten to know Ray well the past few years, and I have seen his passion and enthusiasm first hand. He is a hard worker and very driven person.
Like so many of us, Ray believes Gov. Dannell Malloy has taken Connecticut in a fiscally irresponsible direction. One of those people whom completely support the governor is Cristin McCarthy Vahey. She has voted with the governor, and her party leaders, 98 percent of the time. These votes and these decisions have raised taxes to record levels, and have retirees, seniors and businesses fleeing the state at a record rate. Actually, let me add hard-working families to that list … families that want to stay in this beautiful state, but simply can’t afford to live here any longer.
There are many well-intentioned folks in Hartford, but it’s imperative we restore a system of checks and balances. I hope you will support Ray Neuberger for state representative Nov. 8, and send a message that it is time to change the way we do business in Connecticut.
