FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield residents have just six weeks before they must choose between Linda McMahon and Chris Murphy in Connecticut's U.S. Senate race.
A somewhat large portion of likely voters throughout the state still are undecided between the two candidates, according the most recent poll conducted by the University of Connecticut and the Hartford Courant. McMahon and Murphy are in a statistical dead heat with a larger-than-average 28 percent saying they are "undecided."
Voters will get some help making up their minds when the two candidates face off in a debate Oct. 15 at the Garde Arts Center in New London.
