GREENWICH, Conn. — Terrorists are gaining a position of control, says the former U.S. ambassador to France, who is a resident of Greenwich, according to a story on newstimes.com.

Craig Stapleton served under President George Bush from 2005-09 and points to Friday’s attack in Paris as cause for alarm, the story said. This is the second act of terrorist violence in the French capital in 2015, the first being in January at the Charlie Hebdo newspaper.
