WESTON, Conn. — Hillary Clinton made history when the Democratic Party nominated her Tuesday night as the first female candidate for president for a major party. Barbara Reynolds — head of the Democratic Town Committee in Weston — was a witness to the events Tuesday night, Her are her thoughts on Tuesday at the convention in her own words:

It was an incredible evening, and [I’m] so proud that we came together with the [Bernie] Sanders supporters. Inside the hall, the roll call vote was very exciting. And we all love former President Bill Clinton. I hope that any people who don't really know all that Hillary has done over her life get the chance to listen to his speech.
