And the election Tuesday in Connecticut is all about local races, with voters heading to the polls to vote for their fellow town residents. These are the elected town officials who have a direct impact on property taxes, schools, police, town services and more.
Voters will decide two seats on the Board of Finance, four seats on the Board of Education along with a two-year vacancy, two seats on the Planning and Zoning Commission and a total of three seats on the Board of Assessment Appeals.
