Firm Completes Work On 12th Sandy-Damaged Home In Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Westchester Modular Homes has just successfully completed the reconstruction of its 12th home devastated by Hurricane Sandy.

The rebuilt homes are located from Greenwich to Milford, ranging in price from $240,000 to $1.4 million, according to a press release.

“We have been working with families since shortly after the storm hit in October, 2012," said Paul Scalzo, president of the firm, in a press release. ”Our involvement began when our New Jersey branch started getting calls from Connecticut residents.

"We stepped in and working with grants from the Connecticut Department on Housing and the Superstorm Sandy disaster recovery program. We became one of two authorized modular home builders for the fund.”

Westchester Modular Homes is a full-service modular home builder handling projects from financing to framing and finishing, according to a press release.

“For all of our disaster victims, we handle everything from dealing with insurance companies to putting a roof over their heads," Joseph Enright, the company's general manager, said in a press release.
