NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A house owned by General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt and his wife has been reduced for a second time since it was listed last year, according to a story in The Hour.
GE announced last year it was leaving its headquarters in Fairfield to move to Boston. Immelt owns the house with his wife, Andrea.
The home is now listed for $4.7 million. The Hour story said the home was listed for $5.5 million when it hit the market last year. It was listed for $4.9 million in October. The Immelts paid $5.3 million when they purchased it in 2001.
The home includes six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and 11,458 square feet of living space. It also includes 4.01 acres and is being offered by Houlihan Lawrence agent Judy Dunn. Click here for property listing information.
