Patricia Canzano, 69, Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. – Patricia  F. Canzano died on Saturday, March 7, at the Smith House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of brain cancer. She was 69 years old.

She was a resident of Stamford since 1947. She was born in Rochester, N.Y. on Jan. 28, 1946. Canzano was a member of the first graduating class of Rippowam High School. She worked at Southern New England Telephone for 33 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Springdale VFW Post 9617 and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Turn of River Volunteer Fire department. She was also a member of the Pioneers of SNET.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy U. Canzano, of Stamford; and two sisters; Kathleen Canzano of Saranac Lake, N.Y. and Deborah Canzano of Rock Tavern, N.Y.

She was predeceased by her father Peter F. Canzano.

Visitation is on Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St. in Stamford. Burial will be private.
