He was born on Aug.5, 1943, to Helen (Lyos) and Michael Fedorchak Sr.
He served in the U.S. Army and was in Vietnam in 1965.
Upon returning from Vietnam he got a job with Ford and worked there for 13 years. When Ford closed the Edison plant, he went to work, as a welder, for Falstrom Company in Passaic Park, where he retired, just under 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; three daughters, Cheryl Brown and her husband Jason; Julie Fitzsimmons and her husband Ethan; and Lauren Fedorchak; his stepdaughter, Heather Pavlic; along with three grandchildren, William Fitsimmons, Emerson Fitzsimmons and Alexis Brown.
He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald.
Viewing will be Friday, May 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave., Wallington. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 7, at 10 a.m., at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Ave., Wallington. Flowers are welcomed.
