Brockton Fire responded to the two-alarm fire at 107 Tribou Street just after 7 a.m. on Friday morning, Feb. 17, Brockton Fire Chief Brian Nardelli told Daily Voice.

Upon arrival, crews found heavy fire coming from the first and second floors, Nardelli said. People were also reportedly trapped inside.

A search of the building was deemed negative as four people managed to get out of the home safely before the fire was put out, Nardelli continued. All four people were displaced and were said to be getting help from the red Cross.

The firefighter who was taken to the hospital suffered minor injuries, WCVB continued. The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.
