The balls continue on Feb. 7 at the Stamford Marriott, where the organization expects to see Fairfield County high school juniors and seniors attend in record numbers allowing the Assemblies to gather more donations.

Student ambassadors from five different local schools select the Student Ambassador Charities they wish to support with a portion of the net proceeds from the Charity Balls.

Students from Fairfield Ludlowe High School will be supporting Operation Hope. Students from the Fairfield Warde High School have decided to split the proceeds among the High School Scholarship Foundation of Fairfield and Warde’s “RAAFT,” which stands for Raising Abuse Awareness for Teens at Fairfield Warde.

Student ambassadors are also representing Weston High School, Staples High School and Wilton High School.

The County Assemblies of Fairfield has been active since 1938, when it was founded by Willem C. Schilthius of Westport.
