Fairfield Professor Shines Light On Barnum's First International Superstar
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Author Nicholas Rinaldi, professor emeritus in English at Fairfield University, will present, “Nicholas Rinaldi: General Tom Thumb,” a free reading, gallery tour and book signing on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Barnum Museum, 820 Main St., Bridgeport.
Rinaldi is author of “The Remarkable Courtship of General Tom Thumb” and will read from his book about P.T. Barnum’s tiny international star, a Bridgeport native. The museum will offer a gallery tour before the book signing.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the museum.
