FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Public and parochial schools in Fairfield will remain closed Monday due to snowstorm Nemo, the Fairfield Public School website announced Sunday.

Full-time staff members are not to report to school Monday, but as of Sunday afternoon are asked to attend Tuesday. Classes for all students are canceled for Monday and Tuesday.

Fairfield University announced that all Monday classes have been canceled.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Dr. Betty Rogers Rubenstein of Fairfield died Sunday May 19. She was 92.

Dr. Rubenstein was born Dec. 29, 1920, in Brookline, Mass. She received her Bachelor's degree from Smith College in Northampton, Mass., June 9, 1942 and Ph.D. in Art History from Florida State University in Tallahassee in 1979.
