Fairfield Schools Closed Friday After Heavy Snowfall

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- All public and parochial schools in the Town of Fairfield were closed Friday due to the heavy snow that fell overnight across the region.

Offices for 12-month school employees will open at 10 a.m.

State Superior Courts were closed, and the Department of Motor Vehicles canceled all driving tests for the day.

Western Connecticut State University and all other state colleges were also closed.
