Fairfield Schools Closed, Libraries To Open Thursday

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield’s schools will stay closed Thursday, but its public libraries will reopen to the public Thursday morning. Here’s a rundown of what will be open and closed Thursday:

▪ The Fairfield Public Library’s Main Library (1080 Old Post Road) and Fairfield Woods Branch Library (1147 Fairfield Woods Road) will both be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Both have electrical outlets and Wi-Fi service open to the public.

▪ Fairfield’s Town Hall will be closed to the public except for essential services again Thursday.

▪ Fairfield public and parochial school will be closed Thursday and Friday.

▪ Notre Dame High School will be closed Thursday and Friday.

▪ Fairfield Prep is closed Thursday.

▪ Fairfield Country Day School is closed Thursday.

▪ Southport’s Eagle Hill School is closed Thursday and Friday.

▪ Fairfield University has canceled classes for Thursday. It will make a decision about Friday’s classes tomorrow.

▪ Sacred Heart University has canceled all classes through Sunday.
