Fairfield University Hosting Upcoming Lacrosse Matches At New Stadium

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield’s new $10 million Rafferty Field is now open and has already hosted two lacrosse games for the university, reports Westfair Communications.

The lacrosse-only facility seats 3,500 and includes an artificial field, lights, new bathrooms, concession stands, a press box and locker rooms, according to the report.

The next women’s lacrosse match at Rafferty Field will be Wednesday, March 18, at 3 p.m. when they face Connecticut College. The next men’s lacrosse match is Saturday, March 14, at 1 p.m. against Colgate University.
