Fairfield's Sacred Heart University Hosts Collegiate Ethics Bowl

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Sacred Heart University will be hosting the Northeast Regional Collegiate Ethics Bowl for the third consecutive year. 

College teams will compete regionally in the United States and Canada for the right to become one of 32 teams to advance to the National Ethics Bowl. The teams argue and defend their moral assessment of some of the most troubling and complex ethical issues facing society today. Questions address a wide array of topics in business and professional ethics, in personal relationships and in social and political affairs.

Sacred Heart will field two teams. Other colleges competing include Seton Hall University, Providence College, Tufts University, U.S. Military Academy, Villanova University and Colgate University.

The event will take place at the Academic Building at Sacred Heart, 5151 Park Ave, in Fairfield on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event is sponsored by Sacred Heart University and the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics.
