Jack Welch Discusses New Book At Fairfield's Sacred Heart University

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Bestselling author and former GE chairman and CEO Jack Welch will visit Sacred Heart University April 20 for a discussion and signing of his new book, written with his wife, "The Real-Life MBA."

Welch, for whom Sacred Heart’s John F. Welch College of Business is named, is one of the world’s most respected and celebrated CEOs. He began his career at GE in 1960 as a chemical engineer and retired from the company in 2001 as its chairman and CEO. CNBC named Welch one of the Top 10 “Rebels, Icons and Leaders” of the past 25 years. He is a co-writer of multiple best-selling books with his wife Suzy; manages numerous companies as part of a private equity firm; and serves as executive chairman of the Jack Welch Management Institute.
