National Catholic Schools Week is an annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States, traditionally starting on the last Sunday in January and going all week
The 2015 event was set for Jan. 25 to Jan. 31, and this year's theme was “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.”
Schools mark the occasion with mass, open houses and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members.
Both Fairfield schools delayed events one week due to bad winter weather during the last week of January.
