Sacred Heart Receives $25K For Scholarships In Master's Accounting Program

FAIRFIELD, Conn.— The Connecticut chapter of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts has awarded $25,000 to the master’s in accounting program at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield to fund scholarships for graduate students.

This fund was established to assist Sacred Heart University accounting students who seek to become certified public accountants and certified valuation analysts.

This scholarship will give students access to a network of professionals in the valuation field, with the goal of joining and expanding the chapter upon graduation.

The NACVA State Chapter Foundation of Connecticut is a nonprofit professional organization made up of CPAs and other valuation and consulting professionals, all of whom are pursuing business valuation, litigation forensics consulting and various other types of related services for the legal and business communities. 

Its goal is to provide educational and networking opportunities for members and other interested parties in the areas of valuation, litigation support and fraud deterrence.
