All Fairfield public and parochial school students will be dismissed early. The buses will pick up:

  • high school students at 11:45 a.m.;
  • middle school students at 12:40 p.m.;
  • Holland Hill students at 12:55 p.m. and
  • all other elementary students at 1:40 p.m.
The afternoon preschools are canceled for Monday, and all afternoon and evening activities are canceled.

The Fairfield County area remains under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 p.m. Monday.

The forecast calls for 2 to 4 inches of snow along with 10 to 15 mph winds. Falling and blowing snow may cut visibility and cause dangerous travel conditions across Fairfield County, the National Weather Service warned.

The snow is expected to continue throughout Monday, with a chance of snow into the evening.
