FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Cub Scout Pack 88 celebrated Earth Day with a little elbow grease Thursday, beautifying the grounds around Jennings Elementary School.

The boys spent the afternoon spreading mulch, planting flowers and replacing a tree they dubbed “The Tony Tree” in honor of Principal Anthony Vuolo.
Good Earth Tree Care donated the mulch and tree and Home Depot matched the PTA-provided funds to buy flowers.
