Chu, Team USA Play for Women's Gold

Fairfield's Julie Chu and the USA Women's Hockey Team go for the gold medal Monday against Canada in the International Hockey Federation's championship game in Switzerland.

Team USA is 4-0 in the tournament and advanced to the championship game with a 5-1 win over Russia in the semifinals. Chu had an assist in the game. She was also Team USA's Player of the Game in a 13-1 win over Russia in the team's second game of the tournament.

Chu is a three-time Olympian and started her hockey career with the Connecticut Polar Bears. She also played at Choate Rosemary Hall. She was an All-American at Harvard University.
