The regular season in Fairfield County starts this week with games beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 10 and continuing through Saturday, Sept. 13.
Among the featured matchups, defending Class L state champion New Canaan, No. 25 in the latest MaxPreps Northeast Region rankings, visits Daniel Hand of Madison under the Friday Night Lights on the new Strong Field at The Surf Club.
